A Decade of Color, Flavor & Friendship
色彩と味覚と友情の10年
This spring, under the cherry blossoms of Tenjin Chuo Park, Namaste Fukuoka returns for a landmark 10th edition — two days of authentic Indian culture, cuisine, music, and dance in the heart of Fukuoka city. Since its humble beginnings in 2016, this festival has grown into Kyushu's largest Indian cultural celebration, welcoming around 24,000 visitors last year alone.
満開の桜が美しい春の天神中央公園を舞台に、ナマステ福岡が記念すべき第10回目を迎えます。2016年に小さな地域イベントとしてスタートした本フェスティバルは、2025年には約24,000人の来場者を迎え、九州最大規模のインド文化フェスティバルへと成長しました。2026年は、日印文化交流10周年を記念し、インドと日本の文化が出会う特別な2日間をお届けします。

Handcrafted jewelry, accessories, spices, and cultural goods from 9 market booths.
Yoga Sessions
Morning yoga by Purvi Jhaveri / ABUNDANCE — both days from 10:30. All welcome, no experience needed.
Henna Art
Free traditional mehndi body art by skilled artists. A beautiful souvenir to wear home.
Saree Experience
Try on colorful traditional Indian attire and snap a photo at the Taj Mahal Love Frame photo spot.
10th Anniversary Opening
10周年記念 公式開会式
The official opening ceremony takes place on Saturday, April 11 at 12:00, featuring a special 10th anniversary ribbon-cutting and traditional lamp-lighting ceremony. Distinguished guests include representatives from the Consulate General of India, Fukuoka and the Governor of Fukuoka Prefecture.
4月11日（土）12:00より、10周年記念テープカットおよびランプ点灯式を含む公式開会式を執り行います。在福岡インド総領事館ならびに福岡県知事のご臨席を予定しております。

Born as a small community event introducing Indian culture through music, food, and friendship.

Recognized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as an India-Japan Friendship Year event. Expanded to two days.
外務省より日印友好交流年記念事業の認定を受け、2日間開催へ拡大。
Received co-hosting approval from the Consulate General of India in Osaka-Kobe. Classical dance, Bollywood, and food created a colorful celebration.
在大阪・神戸インド総領事館より共催承認。インド古典舞踊やボリウッドダンスで福岡を彩る。
Introduced eco-friendly operations. Became one of Kyushu's most unique India-Japan cultural festivals.
環境配慮型運営を導入。九州を代表する日印文化交流イベントの一つへと成長。
